Back in February, Andrej Karpathy coined a new term in a tweet, “vibe coding.” It describes a way of working where you guide AI at a high level, let it build out the code, and simply see what shows up. No code review, no friction, just flow.
Done right, you can move very quickly.
Whether the term would stick was anyone’s guess, but as a co-founder of OpenAI, Karpathy’s influence carried weight. Fast forward a few months, and vibe coding is now part of the developer lexicon, no quotes needed.
At Flowgear, we’ve seen a similar evolution. A few years back, customers often needed custom front-ends to bridge gaps their existing apps couldn’t fill. That’s why we launched Flowgear Apps, lightweight, embeddable apps that let teams interact directly with integrated data across operations, finance, sales and HR.
Originally, these apps required traditional web stack skills such as JavaScript and its ecosystem of libraries. But that’s changing.
That’s where vibe coding comes in.
Build with Flowgear. Code less. Create more.
Join us on 10 December for a live session where we will unveil the refreshed Flowgear Apps experience and show you how to use vibe coding to build smarter, faster, and with less code.
- Create front ends that fit your operational process exactly
- Get reporting and error remediation tailored to your business
