Sync announces new client in the US
Apparel ERP and PLM software company iSyncSolutions has recently added several new apparel brands to its international client base, including LA-based Hedley & Bennett, a company that handcrafts premium aprons and culinary gear.
iSyncSolutions is thrilled to have this fast-growing, innovative brand as one of its clients that use its apparel software system, Sync.
Sync's apparel software is designed specifically for the apparel industry and encompasses 22 comprehensive modules. "Hedley & Bennett chose to implement our apparel ERP and PLM modules as well as our full integration with QuickBooks, Shopify and Shipstation, which has created huge efficiencies in their e-commerce (B2C) and wholesale (B2B) order fulfilment process," says iSyncSolutions CEO Peter Booysen. "Another feature that has driven order visibility and accountability is Sync's intelligent automated reporting module, which alerts sales reps and operations teams, thereby ensuring that customers' orders remain on track and on time."
Hedley & Bennett's Chief Marketing Officer, Jon Levine, said the company considered many platforms before choosing Sync. Levine said Hedley & Bennett needed one that could work out the box, but was also highly customisable. He mentioned that one of the company's key requirements was finding a software partner that could support it along the way, something the Sync team prides itself on.
"Given the nuances of our business, the Sync team spent a lot of time getting to learn the ins and outs. Once launched, the Sync team has been very responsive to our ongoing training needs, working through new cases and developing solutions."
Since implementing the system a few months ago, Levine noted the company is starting to see huge changes in the business, from better and more structured processes to greater transparency into all of its sales and inventory.
Hedley & Bennett
The apron company was founded by Ellen Bennett in 2012, out of her desire to inspire a sense of dignity and pride in the kitchen and beyond, with high quality aprons and other chef accessories. Every element of a Hedley & Bennett product is designed and carefully tested to handle the rigorous hustle of a professional kitchen. Since its inception, Bennett's aprons have won fans such as lifestyle guru Martha Stewart and top chefs including Mario Batali, David Chang, April Bloomfield and Alton Brown.
Bennett managed to grow her operation from a 400 square foot office to its headquarters and showroom, which is now a 14 000 square ft factory in Vernon, and all in under three years. The company now outfits over 4 000 restaurants across the world!
