As the COVID-19 pandemic has gripped the world, Snupit, South Africa’s leading online platform connecting locals with professionals and businesses, continues to support its SME users.

Avinash Samlall, Snupit’s Founder and CEO, commented on this: “No one could have predicted the situation we’re facing. We’re all caught by surprise. But one thing we’ve always been sure of at Snupit is that we always do our best to empower small businesses. The SMEs are the backbone of our economy, of any economy, and we’re always there to help them. And we’re fulfilling this commitment even during the pandemic.”

As such, Snupit is hopeful that the continued operations and efforts of Snupit will do its part in helping revive the economy. Snupit is supplying its pros with business leads to fill their order books when the lockdown eases.

The company has been working remotely. Snupit’s staff have been given resources to work from home. To a great extent, this strategy enables Snupit to maintain business as usual.

Samlall added: “Of course we’re not in an ideal situation. But we have no doubt that we’re doing the ideal thing in such a situation. At its core, Snupit is about empowering SMEs and that’s something that small businesses need most during this pandemic.”

Quality leads and clients are the lifeblood of any business and Snupit is determined to provide these to its pros in these tough times, to the best of its ability.
