For 20 years, Hetzner has had a single focus: to be trusted in hosting. It has developed the infrastructure, the customer service and the necessary tools to support its customers as they build their Web sites – and their businesses. It's now time for the company to stretch a little further – its going global.
The reason Hetzner has changed its name
The company already has an office in Canada and intends to launch into new markets. Its international expansion means it needs to change its name to avoid brand confusion with Hetzner Online, a separate company to Hetzner SA.

The company is still the same team, just with a new look and space to grow.
Why xneelo?
The name xneelo (pronounced ex-nee-lo) was chosen with care, inspired by a Latin phrase that translates into the ability to ‘create something out of nothing’. The company believes its new name speaks to the resourcefulness, ingenuity and industrious spirit of its customers –and of its team.
All the parts that have made Hetzner what it is won’t change. The company values, its founder and CEO, and its experienced leadership team, who have been with the company for many years, remain the same. They are now xneelo’s values and leadership team. Its operational strategy remains unchanged.
Please take note of the new e-mail addresses you can contact us on: for example, support@xneelo.com replaces support@hetzner.co.za. And note that your invoice will now say "xneelo" instead of "Hetzner". The company's bank account number remains the same, so please be extra vigilant of phishing scams during this period of change.
