Country Manager, Cisco South Africa

My passion for sales and business development developed from an interest macro and micro economics, a desire to deliver customer centric technology solutions, an inherent technology talent, creativity and ability to solve complex problems. On completion of a National Diploma in Electronic Engineering followed by a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering my engineering career in the South African aerospace industry grew from Embedded Software Developer, System Engineer, Software Development Manager and then Programme Manager where I developed a firm understanding of complex technical systems.

In order to further develop my leadership skills and business acumen, I returned to study towards an MBA (graduated with distinction) where I developed a thorough understanding of global organisational strategy, business development, marketing and complex sales. I have successfully developed and implement business development strategies for a South African aerospace company that has resulted in successful sales in China and partnerships in South Korea.

In my current role as a Client Executive for Cisco Systems I am responsible for one of five strategic customers in South Africa. I am confident that I have the complete package of skills for senior sales and management roles for any organization, team and customer.
