Frans Vermaak has more than 20 years’ experience in IT hardware and software environments, with extensive experience in all phases of software solution design, development, implementation and project management. He has over 12 years’ experience in business intelligence, business analytics, performance management and data warehousing. Vermaak has a personal focus on, and passion for, strategic management. He is an experienced feature and keynote speaker, and has spoken at numerous events globally. He was the founder of the IBM BA Architecture Work Group that developed the architectures for all the IBM BA products and solutions, and he initiated many new developments and product improvements at IBM.
