MTN SA has introduced a new proposition offering that includes prepaid and contract price plans and bundles for unlimited voice, SMSes and data - called MTN Sky.

Brian Gouldie, MTN's chief marketing officer, says the company hopes its new unlimited plans will help customers simplify their monthly billings in order to manage their budgets more effectively.

MTN Sky will be available to both prepaid and contract customers. The contract variant will offer customers unlimited calls, unlimited SMSrs and uncapped data and will be available on a 24-month contract from R1 699 per month for the SIM only deal. Subscriptions on contract packages with a device, is dependent on the handset included.

Gouldie says MTN Sky customers will also qualify for free Bidvest airport lounge access at local and international airports, smart-phone repairs service (whereby MTN will collect a faulty handset and issue a replacement phone) and priority support within MTN's call centre.

Prepaid offer

A range of MTN Sky bundles has also been designed for prepaid customers, says MTN. MTN Sky prepaid bundles offer unlimited calls, unlimited SMSe and capped or uncapped data.

The prepaid MTN Sky range is available on the following bundles:
