Antony Seeff, CEO of cellphone bill analysis company Tariffic, says one of the reasons some people are electing not to upgrade their phone along with their contract every two years, is because phones do not change as much these days. "The iPhone 5, for example, is still a very practical phone for most people, even though it is now over two years old.
Antony Seeff, CEO of cellphone bill analysis company Tariffic, has scrutinised the seven Epic contract deals on offer to consumers who take up the buyout promo. He says the way the contracts are structured is "so incredibly confusing", and potentially misleading to consumers.
Tariffic CEO Antony Seeff says it is "interesting" Cell C is providing customers with a value card loaded with the buyout value. "This card will ultimately expire and may not be used for cash withdrawal, so Cell C is banking on a lot of ‘breakage' on customers who don't use the full value of the card before it expires.

He points to the last year – when a Johannesburg businessman had to resort to erecting a giant banner castigating the operator's customer service – as indicative of "the frustration that exists with current customer care channels".
