The International e-Sports Federation (IeSF) has negotiated with The Association for International Sports for All (TAFISA) to add e-sports to the official programme of the 2016 TAFISA World Sport For All Games to be held in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The TAFISA World Sport For All Games are held every four years. The week-long event is a vibrant and entertaining experience, offering an opportunity for the public to discover the traditional and contemporary games and sports of cultures from across the globe.

Since its founding in Bordeaux, France, in 1991, TAFISA has grown dramatically, with over 180 members in 120 countries from all continents and is officially recognised by, and in active cooperation with the International Olympic Committee, United Nations Education, Science and Culture Organisation, as well as the World Health Organisation, the association says.

On 1 January 2010, the international assembly of national organisations of sport was formally integrated into TAFISA, strengthening TAFISA's position as representing the global sport for all movement.

Mind Sport SA, which has been long involved with TAFISA, sent teams to the 1996 Games in Thailand and the 2012 Games in Lithuania.

Danny Jordaan, current president of the South African Football Association, acted as the Chef d' Mission of the team that went to Thailand.
