Robert Sussman, CEO of the Integr8 Group, housing Integr8 IT (Pty) Ltd, South Africa's largest privately owned national BEE ICT network integration and infrastructure management specialist, has been named one of three Top Businessman in Africa for 2008, in the ForgeAhead African ICT Achievers Awards.
The company has also received confirmation for again being a top contender for the Most Innovative Company in Africa Award 2008, an award that they won in 2007 for global innovation.
Sussman is not new to being acknowledged on this level, having won the Top Private Sector CIO Award for the entire African continent in 2005, 2006 and 2007. He was also in the top three of the Top Businessman category in 2007, alongside Allan Cawood, CEO of Dimension Data, and Hamilton Ratshefola, MD of Cornastone.
The company itself has been identified by adjudicators of the Achiever Awards for its rapid sustainable growth, market success and technology in business acumen.

The thirty-something-year-old entrepreneur and ICT specialist attributes the success of the company to the collective application of expertise and approach to innovation.
“Over the years the industry has changed remarkably. We continue to see the impact of global trends such as virtualisation, software-as-a-service and other key influences. If one pitches corporate information and communication infrastructure strategy against the impact of volatile international markets and higher levels of competition, it makes sense that outsourcing to credible, established and recognised partners and experts should emerge as a popular route,” adds Sussman.
