New Dawn Technologies (NDT) is the proud owner of the increasingly coveted Midrand Business of the Year Award in the large business category, ahead of other major industry players.

Thabo Maduna, one of NDT`s Executive Directors, proudly received the trophy which was presented by the Midrand Chamber of Commerce & Industry on 3 November at the Midrand Business of the Year Awards, held at Gallagher Estate.

The entry criteria for this prestigious award was for companies whose performance enhanced not only their bottom line, but have contributed to the success of the region.

The specific criteria on which companies were measured included business performance, leadership and management philosophy, employee training, development and motivation, social responsibility contribution, adherence to black empowerment policies and contributions to the Midrand community, and entries were judged by an independent body from the UNISA School of Business.

Not only did New Dawn Technologies successfully meet all these criteria, the company was also nominated in the large business category as its turnover is in excess of R150 million.

The company`s growth has been phenomenal in the last two years, and as a major BEE industry player, it will continue to make a dynamic impact in the South African IT public and private sector. NDT`s philosophy of business focuses attention on the needs of potential clients and brings the entire company`s resources and skills to bear on the task of understanding and meeting clients` needs.

In maintaining this philosophy, NDT strives to be a consumer-driven organisation dedicated to satisfying individual and organisational objectives in the marketplace. Through this process, valuable contributions are made towards economic well-being as well as to social and community welfare.
