Sagent continues to grow operations

Sagent's rapid growth strategy is continuing with the opening of new operations in Europe (Italy) and in the Nordic countries. New experienced professionals have been appointed to grow these regions.

Sagent Italia has been formed with the appointment of Carlo Petronio to direct the country's operations. Before joining Sagent, Petronio was general manager of Cognos Italy and he brings over 25 years of IT experience, an in-depth knowledge of the data warehouse, business intelligence and ETL markets, together with in-depth knowledge of the Italian market.

Sagent Italia has already signed its first customer - Lovable Italiana S.p.a, which specialises in design and manufacturing of apparel under the Lovable and Fila brand names.

As part of the continuous growth in Europe, Sagent has appointed Chris Delve to direct Sagent's Nordic operations, which covers Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Iceland.

Sagent Inc was established in 1995 and is a leading local business intelligence solution provider. The Sagent global head office is based in Mountain View, California. The Sagent Southern African office started operations in 1999.
