Accelerate Networks, SA’s leading SASE and Zero Trust provider, has launched a secure and fully manageable backup Internet data SIM that ensures users Internet and network access when their primary Internet links fail.
Unlike standard Internet data SIMs, the Z-Sim backup from Accelerate Networks will give users restricted access to business applications when their primary connectivity is unavailable. This ensures 100% network uptime, while eliminating the high cost of mobile data used for non-business content.
“A data sim is the most flexible option for use as a backup solution in a WFH scenario, but without the required visibility and control, mobile data can be a cost risk. The Z-Sim eliminates this risk by providing full application access visibility and control,” says Stuart Hardy, CMO at Accelerate Networks.
Z-Sim backup is tightly integrated into Accelerate Networks’ SASE Cloud solution, Zscaler, which includes security, URL filtering, visibility and control. Companies can deliver the best user experience while ensuring that data costs remain manageable and, in the case of backup SIMs, up to 80% less data cost.
