Ockert van der Schyf (BSc, BSc Hons, MSc Computer Science) has spent the largest part of his career involved in simulators and simulation systems for the SANDF. He progressed to the management of projects and later to programs. His activities include technical leadership, technical marketing and systems specification. Van der Schyf has a substantial reputation in the war simulation and command and control market, and is highly regarded for the support and facilitation roles he plays during war simulations and disaster simulation exercises. In his current capacity, he bears full responsibility for all technical aspects on all projects undertaken by CyberSim.
