VARs wanted in southern Africa

Johannesburg, 16 Apr 2014

With its growing product portfolio, and growing customer base across sub-Saharan Africa, the Printer Distribution Company (PDC) is looking to expand its channel on the continent.

Providing a range of industrial, back- and front-office printing solutions, which include brand names such as inAni, and many others, PDC is looking to grow its value added reseller (VAR) base, calling for applications from businesses interested in only best-of-breed products in the retail, industrial and office arenas.

"The African market has been growing steadily for us, and we are seeing increasing uptake of our premium brands across the continent. We are therefore looking to expand our network of value-added resellers in the region, in order to help meet the increased demand we are seeing. We are looking for VARS exclusive to a city in your area," says Rodney Bartman, CEO of PDC.

"We offer resellers the opportunity to provide their customers with a complete high-end printing solution at an affordable price. With a range of printers to meet every need - from multifunction machines for office environments to point of sale (POS) solutions, we offer the quality of internationally recognised brand names, combined with extremely personalised service and support, including training and technical support."

Bartman adds that the company will be focusing on growing the footprint of its high-end ranges, including printers, scanners, integrated touch units, and consumables. By partnering with PDC, resellers will be accessing high quality brands and high demand, together with PDC's expertise and support.

"Partnership is vital to success in the channel, and customer service is the cornerstone of our business. On our Web site it says 'At PDC, we take our relationship with our partners seriously. We have a proven track record of working in close partnership with our VARs to foster joint success. We are committed to providing the tools, training and technical support they need to maximise return on investment.' These are not just words for us. This is how we operate on a daily basis," he concludes.
