In the wake of Oracle`s recent acquisitions, Oracle OpenWorld 2005 is to unite the Oracle OpenWorld, PeopleSoft Connect and Retek World conferences in a single event to be held in San Francisco from 17 to 22 September.

In announcing the opening of online registration, Oracle said the event would include all of the content that was available at previous Oracle OpenWorld shows, along with content for PeopleSoft Enterprise, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, JD Edwards World and Retek customers.

Organisers say the event will feature six days of educational programming for business and IT professionals, customers and partners. It will showcase over 900 technical, business and industry focused sessions and feature more than 250 Oracle partner solutions on the exhibition floor.

This year`s event will also include Accenture, Advanced Micro Devices, Capgemini, Fujitsu Group, HP, Intel, Network Appliance, Oracle and Sun Microsystems.
