Acting Cell C CEO Jose Dos Santos says the company has introduced four promotional vouchers to fill a gap in its Supacharge range.
Acting Cell C CEO Jose Dos Santos says the company has introduced four promotional vouchers to fill a gap in its Supacharge range.

Cell C will this week add four new "Supacharge" vouchers to its existing range of prepaid offerings.

Available from 1 May, these vouchers will give customers free rand value and option of when to use the extra airtime.

Acting Cell C CEO Jose Dos Santos explains: "Cell C offers additional value every time a customer recharges, irrespective of the recharge voucher denomination. Whether it is R5 or R500, customers automatically receive free talk time, SMS and data with every recharge."

Dos Santos says the four new vouchers "fill the gap" prepaid subscribers have been asking the operator to address.

The new vouchers come in denominations of R20, R30, R60 and R120, each with double the bonus rand value, which can be used for Cell C to Cell C (on-net) calls and SMSes, as well as data. For example, a customer who recharges with R20 will receive R20 airtime, plus R40 bonus airtime to use for on-net calls, SMSes or data.

Subscribers who load higher value vouchers will be able to use their bonus value for a longer period (up to 30 days), says Cell C.

Customers can purchase vouchers from any Cell C store or participating retail outlet. The four vouchers will be available until 31 July.
