ADP Streamline, a provider of outsourced payroll and HR services solutions, has appointed Sage VIP Payroll & HR as its channel and service partner for Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria and Botswana.

This extends an existing relationship between the companies for the South African market into other parts of the continent.

ADP Streamline has an opportunity to expand its global footprint while Sage VIP will grow its customer base, says Marina Nolte, national outsourcing manager at Sage VIP.

According to a statement, ADP appoints partners as subcontractors to provide services to its clients in countries where it has no direct presence.

ADP Streamline selected Sage VIP as its partner for SA in 2008, and has decided to extend the agreement into other African territories based on Sage VIP's performance during this time.

"We are now the official payroll provider for ADP Streamline in SA, Nigeria, Kenya, Botswana and Ghana," says Nolte. "Sage VIP Outsourcing will provide managed payroll services to ADP clients in those countries."

ADP Streamline will provide a central infrastructure that offers security, confidentiality, quality of service and process management to global companies, while Sage VIP Outsourcing will provide the in-country expertise and platform to ensure statutory compliance in the relevant African countries, says Nolte.

"We're excited by this new partnership, not only because of the business opportunities it brings, but also because it is a strong endorsement of our systems and processes," she adds.

"Considering that over 80% of Fortune 500 companies use at least one of the ADP group's services, the company is extremely rigorous in auditing, selecting and governing client relationships. The ADP Streamline stamp of approval shows that we follow the very best practices in our business and that we can provide a service that meets the toughest regulatory demands."
