The Printer Distribution Company (PDC) has introduced the inAni BP9000E, a dot matrix printer that meets even the highest of demands in terms of quality and speed.
Businesses today want printers that are affordable, durable, and reliable - particularly businesses doing high volumes of printing where high quality resolution is not essential. This printer, a 24-pin BP9000E is a high-performance top-of-the-line dot matrix printer, that is suitable for fanfold papers, cut sheets, envelopes, labels and multiple forms, says Rodney Bartman, CEO of PDC.
"This printer can attain speeds of up to 840 characters per second, and over and above being extremely fast, it is incredibly economical, with a single ribbon cartridge printing up to 20 million characters, making ideal for the retail trade or banking."
He says the BP9000E is also highly versatile, featuring a push tractor for fanfold paper at the rear and optionally a pull tractor or cut sheet feeder for top-feeding operation. "In terms of paper management, the machine features an Intelligent Label Mode, which prevents labels from peeling off. The Auto Scroll function allows automatic positioning of the paper perforation against the tear-off-edge."
In addition, this printer offers 10 resident letter-quality fonts, giving users a large number of design options for correspondence and other documents. "It also features the 13 most important types of bar codes: Industrial 2 of 5, Interleaved 2 of 5, Matrix 2 of 5, Codabar, Code 11, Code 3 of 9, Code 93, Code 128, EAN-8, EAN-13, UPC-A, UPC-E and Postnet, ensuring that forms and labels can be read correctly at all the times."
Another feature this printer boasts is the ability to print up to eight duplicates, for those needing multiple copies.
Bartman says the BP9000E is very easy to use, and features many interfaces. "The machine's two-level menu system (no DIP switches) displays selections on a 16-digit LCD panel in five different languages - English, French, German, Spanish and Italian.
"Moreover, users can store three configurations for instant recall. These models have auto section parallel Centronics and serial RS-232C interfaces, with the option of adding IBM Coax, Twinax, Ethernet and Token Ring."
