All holders of expired EPI certifications - get back-on-track!

Johannesburg, 28 Jul 2014

Dee Smith & Associates (DSA) is pleased to announce the Back-On-Track (BOT) initiative for those professionals whose EPI accreditation certificates have expired and were not renewed or recertified. If you have an expired certificate, but you would like to renew your EPI training and again obtain an internationally recognised professional accreditation, then this BOT opportunity is for you!

Who is eligible for BOT?

All holders of expired EPI certifications and students who failed their exams, but were unable to redo the training or rewrite the certification exam within the six-month grace period, are eligible.

What is the validity period for the BOT offer?

This offer is open to all eligible students from 1 July 2014 to 31 December 2014. The certification exam must be submitted to EXIN for processing on or before Wednesday, 31 December 2014.

What eligible recertification options are available?

There are two options available:

1. A student may elect to re-take the entire course at a 50% discount. This price does not include the cost of the recertification exam and exams are not discounted. Students who fail the recertification exam may sit for another two repeat exams, each at an additional cost, in order to obtain accreditation. However, in the case of any BOT opportunity, all exams must be written and submitted to EXIN on or before 31 December 2014. There is no additional six-month extension for rewrite exams under the BOT offer. Please refer to the course schedule as published on our website (www.deesmith.co.za) to determine when you may attend the relevant course.

2. A student may elect to order a Recertification Package and conduct self-study before attempting the recertification exam. This package includes the latest course workbook and one recertification exam.

Frequently asked questions:

Question: My CDCP (or CDCS) certificate has expired, can I register for the next level course to renew my certificate?
Answer: No, you need a valid certificate before you can take the next certification. You can use the 'BOT' program to obtain a valid certificate.

Question: When is the last day to take my exam?
