Following on from the positive trading statement issued by Adapt IT on 28 July 2014, indicating that the JSE listed technology solutions provider is expecting to see an increase in headline earnings per share (HEPS) by between 50% and 60% for the year ended 30 June 2014, the company was named the winner of the 2014 Oracle Middleware Partner Excellence Award.

The accolade confirms the extensive work Adapt IT is accomplishing in integrating systems for its clients to achieve improved information exchange, process efficiency and better business performance.

Adapt IT's Chief Executive Officer, Sbu Shabalala, explains that Oracle Fusion Middleware is software for the development, deployment and management of service-oriented architecture (SOA). "It provides the architecture to facilitate integration with existing applications and systems from other software vendors. This award is a reflection of the work Adapt IT is doing to deliver integrated business systems which release the power of information and deliver process efficiency across software products," he says.

At the Oracle Partner Day 29 July 2014, Oracle shared its Key Organisational Drivers, Partnership Priorities and Strategic Initiatives for the 2015 financial year with its partner base. "As part of our strategy in developing a Partner Eco-System of Choice, we instated Partner Excellence Awards to recognise the efforts of partners in the most recent financial year," says Stefan Diedericks, Oracle's Alliance and Channel Director and Cloud, Business Process Services and Software as a Service (SaaS) Partner Programmes.

"Congratulations to Adapt IT on securing the Middleware Partner Excellence Award, it has earned this recognition by contributing the highest revenue within the category across all industries, and for displaying continuous innovation at the heart of its engagement with Oracle," says Diedericks. He adds that Oracle looks forward to continuing its collaboration with Adapt IT for further joint success and continuous innovation.

Concluding, Shabalala says that Adapt IT is committed to working with the world's best technology vendors to deliver solutions that give African businesses a global edge. "Recognition from Oracle confirms not only that we work with the best, but that Adapt IT is a major player in delivering quality business solutions for our clients."

Adapt IT is expected to release its results for the year ended 30 June 2014 this coming Monday, 18 August 2014.
