SPI, the African distributor for utility software products and services to the open systems segment of the IT industry and the southern African reseller for Esker, a leader in document process automation solutions, today announced that its cloud-based service, Esker on Demand, has processed over one billion pages.
Ten years after its launch, Esker on Demand now serves over 5 000 customers worldwide, reinforcing the trend and increased adoption rates of the cloud model.
Esker on Demand enables companies to automate the reception, processing and sending of purchase requisitions, vendor and customer invoices, collection letters, pay checks, and sales and marketing communication directly from their business applications (e.g., ERPs and CRMs) by leveraging a suite of cloud-based automation solutions, including purchasing, accounts payable, order processing and accounts receivable.
Since 2004, Esker on Demand has achieved continued success thanks to Esker's strategic positioning and development plans in the dynamic market of cloud-based document process automation, as well as its international structure comprised of three data centres in the US, France and Australia, and seven mail production facilities in Australia, France, Belgium, Singapore, Spain, the UK and the US.
25 million pages processed monthly
Today, organisations around the world use the Esker on Demand platform to process over 25 million pages each month. With an average yearly growth of 35%, Esker on Demand represents 65% of Esker's total sales revenue.
"In today's economy, document process automation technology is a key advantage for companies as it allows them to achieve higher productivity and eliminate low-value tasks thus enabling them to focus on their core business," said Jean-Michel B'erard, CEO at Esker. "The success of Esker on Demand reflects this global trend and reinforces our strategic direction."
