Customer-centric project management is about continuously engaging stakeholders, says Charles Villanyi Bokor.

Many companies produce software for internal use ? from quick fixes to global business solutions ? but projects may struggle to achieve their goals due to people and project management issues.

Charles Villanyi Bokor, strategic management consultant and president of the Continuous Enterprise Resource Planning Group, will explore project scoping, and managing requirements and expectations, at the ITWeb Software Development Management Conference 2015.

"It is imperative to engage stakeholders in the design and definition of the output of a project, without disengaging the project manager charged to manage the project. Customer-centric project management is about continuously engaging all stakeholders, evolving the requirements and empowering project managers," Villanyi Bokor says.

The ITWeb Software Development Management Conference 2015 will provide delegates with practical advice on how to maximise the business value of their developments, through honing their management skills. They will also learn about the key trends shaping software development management and the opportunities and threats these present. The conference will take place at The Forum, in Bryanston, in March.
