SimpliVity displays immense growth, introduces 'Get Hyperconverged' global tour

Johannesburg, 06 Mar 2015

As a recent newcomer to the IT industry, SimpliVity is shaking its 'new kid on the block' image and is starting to be seen as a leader within the hyperconvergence space, and with good reason.

After officially entering the market in 2013, after a three-year development period, SimpliVity has shown immense growth in a very short period.

SimpliVity is the first and only company to deliver the best of both worlds: Cloud economics with enterprise performance, protection and functionality, and is clearly giving customers what they want if you consider its partner uptake and growing client list.

Even though SimpliVity's OmniCube solution competes with some well-known products, SimpliVity's regional director of South Africa and Africa, Christo Briedenhann, is not concerned at all. "I believe in the OmniCube technology and in simplifying IT, which is what SimpliVity does best. Even though some partners might be hesitant to move away from the traditional technology vendors they've been recommending, they cannot turn a blind eye to our technology and the endless benefits it holds. In addition, end-users are starting to see the benefits of the OmniCube in other companies and are requesting the technology from their suppliers, so any possible legacy-related push-back from partners gets eliminated."

Because the SimpliVity OmniCube solution is not just an 'out-of-the-box' product, the company has set up the SimpliVity PartnerAdvantage Program in order to make doing business with SimpliVity a breeze. Its sole distributor in South Africa and southern Africa, Networks Unlimited, is a value-added distributor and offers sales, marketing and training assistance in order to make the uptake for partners easier as well. To date, Networks Unlimited has appointed among others, Dimension Data, EOH, Salt, Sizwe IT Group and Ubuntu to resell SimpliVity OmniCube. To date, 14 partners have been certified in the SimpliVity technology. Within these 14 partners, 26 sales certifications and 53 technical certifications have been completed.

To display the benefits of SimpliVity and its OmniCube solution, the company has recently announced it will be facilitating a global 'Get Hyperconverged' tour in 50 cities across the Americas, Europe, Asia Pacific and Africa, starting in March.
