Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration
The National Office of the CCMA seeks to contract the services of an IT security specialist organisation to provide continuous security services. The organisation will be required to work for two working days a week for a period of 18 months. The organisation should have good analytical and design skills together with knowledge in more than one of the following areas:

* Firewalls and proxy servers; and
* Anti-malware and Web filtering, security tools, network design including AD and Linux, and latest vulnerabilities and threats.

Department of Economic Development and Tourism, Western Cape
Pursuant to its objectives of driving demand and usage of broadband Internet, the province seeks to appoint two service providers to assist in the implementation of the Citizen Internet Champion Programme. The contract requires an implementing agent (company or consortium) to recruit, train and manage Internet champions to be stationed at WiFi hotspots throughout the province. The implementing agent will be required to:
* Develop a training method (model) and training approach using digital content that will be supplied by the WCG;
* Recruit, train, manage and make all logistical arrangements for the trainers and Internet champions;
* Provide training tools for the Internet champions (devices);
* Develop a marketing plan for the programme; and
* Monitor performance and provide ongoing evaluation and reporting.
High-quality expertise and experience is required in recruitment, temporary staff management, business management, training and performance monitoring. Bidders should be able to attend regular meetings at the department in Cape Town and with all relevant Western Cape stakeholders.

A service provider is also sought to develop online content to be used by Internet champions at WiFi hotspots throughout the province. The service provider will be required to develop online digital content:
* Of an educational nature that focuses on improving digital literacy for defined beginner, intermediate and advanced users;
* That covers a minimum of seven training videos of no longer than 120 seconds each;
* That reduces technical terms to easily understandable concepts based on the level of complexity selected;
* That allows the measurement of a user's performance so improvements can be made; and
* In English, except for the beginner module, which should, at a minimum, have a voice-over for Afrikaans and Xhosa language users for the first three videos.
High-quality expertise and experience is required in the development of online digital content and multimedia video production. The successful content designer will be required to arrange regular scoping, monitoring and evaluation sessions with the WCG's appointed platform developer. All content will be owned by the Western Cape government and its use will not be limited to this project. Bidders should be able to attend regular meetings at the Department in Cape Town and with all relevant Western Cape stakeholders.

INSETA
INSETA wishes to appoint a suitable service provider for the updating of learner records on the INSETA electronic learner database (Indicium). The ETQA division of INSETA has been receiving a number of enquiries from employers needing to verify learner credits for the purpose of employment and from learners enquiring on their certificates. These queries relate to learning undertaken as far back as 2004 to date, through various training providers. This has led to an exercise to retrieve both paper-based and electronic files from archives and compare these with what is on the electronic record.

Automotive Industry Development Centre
The AIDC is a state-owned company (SOC) with all its shares held by the Gauteng Growth and Development Agency (GGDA), an agency of the Department of Economic Development of the Gauteng province. The company was established to primarily provide support to the SA Automotive and Allied Industry, in its drive for global competitiveness. Department of Defence
DOD is updating its supplier database in order to give all potential suppliers equal opportunity to quote. All prospective suppliers wishing to engage in conducting business with the DOD are requested to register with the department. Registration of suppliers (both new and current) for the 2015/2016 financial year will be restricted to the months of April 2015, May 2015 and June 2015, and then again in October 2015, November 2015 and December 2015. In the remaining months, only maintenance of registered suppliers will be done.
Note: Suppliers already registered with the department are required to re-register. Failure to do so would lead to suppliers being rendered inactive on the centralised supplier database.
