Chinese stock exchange joins financial services providers and moves business systems to the cloud.

The stock exchange in Shenzhen has migrated its office system to the cloud, to efficiently deliver services to customers as well as protect sensitive client information.

This is according to Huawei Technologies, which said the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE) virtualised its office system by deploying Huawei's desktop cloud solution.

Huawei explained the solution delivers solid information security, easy maintenance, and high IT resource utilisation for the SZSE.

To keep data safe, the solution stores data in the data centre, which means data will not be saved locally. The solution also allows the customer to audit user behaviour and track user operations, according to Huawei.

The SZSE said: "Data security is the lifeline of any securities company. Our existing PC-based office model cannot ensure 100% data security, so we needed to improve the security performance of IT systems."
