EOH Enterprise Content Management (ECM) today announced that it has joined the OpenText Global Partner Programme, becoming an OpenText gold partner.

The programme is designed to maximise the value of partner relationships in the enterprise information management (EIM) marketplace.

According to OpenText, gold is typically for larger firms with the ability to service clients on a national or global scale.

As a member of the OpenText global partner programme, EOH aims to provide a better way for organisations to work with information.

OpenText provides enterprise information management solutions - from information management, information delivery, compliance, and business-to-business integration, within and outside of ERP solutions such as SAP, says EOH.

Victor van der Watt, EIM executive at EOH, says with OpenText, EOH can help clients grow faster, lower operational costs and reduce security risks and customers can now grow their businesses through digital transformation.

OpenText facilitates an agile information governance strategy, designed to reduce risk and mitigate the cost of growing volumes of content in the enterprise, freeing strategic CIOs to focus on using information to drive growth and innovation, he adds.

As a result of being a partner, EOH customers can maximise the value of enterprise information for improved decision-making, effectiveness and strategic impact, says Van der Watt.

They can also improve corporate accountability, ensure compliance, and minimise the risk and cost of litigation with records management, he adds.

The OpenText global partner Programme represents a significant investment in our partner community, says OpenText CEO Mark J Barrenechea.

As companies move into the digital World, they are looking for partners who can help them transform their business, he adds.

"We view our partners as an extension of our global sales force, connecting customers with OpenText solutions.

By building deeper relationships between OpenText and our value-added partners, we will ensure that customers have access to the right solutions, consultancy and support."

Open Text has more than 1 000 go-to-market partners including Deloitte, SAP and Accenture.
