Software and services company Confirmit has developed a mobile survey app that allows users to complete surveys offline.
The company hopes the Confirmit AskMe app will hepl increase the rate of survey participations as it lets users to complete surveys wherever and whenever it suits them.
Multimedia feedback (text, images, audio, video and animation) can be captured and stored offline to be synchronised after successful connection, according to Confirmit. Organisations can also brand the app to suit their own look and feel. It requires no extra design or integration work as it works seamlessly with existing Confirmit Horizons, Confirmit software for voice of the customer (VOC), voice of the employee (VOE) and market research surveys.
"[AskMe] delivers even greater opportunities for insight, whether you are running a VOC programme that requires in-store offline surveys, a VOE that employees can complete in any location, perhaps during breaks or on their journey to work, or an market research study requiring respondents to access surveys multiple times, on the move, or from remote locations," says Terry Lawlor, Confirmit product management enterprise vice president.
Lawlor points to statistics showing that smartphones have overtaken laptops as the number one device for UK and US Internet users. "As a result, mobile users are increasingly critical to understanding how people discover, explore, purchase and engage with brands today," he says.

Confirmit AskMe is available on Android and iOS and can be distributed at no cost to Confirmit customers via App Store or Google Play.
