In a win-win partnership, Datamax-O'Neil has appointed iData Distribution as its Distributor in southern Africa, enhancing channel service delivery under the new Valued Partner Programme (VPP).
iData will be the Distributor of desktop and portable printers for Datamax-O'Neil in southern Africa, following a long and fruitful relationship, dating back to 2002. This advantageous partnership will provide a unique opportunity for both companies to take full advantage of a very dynamic market.
Datamax-O'Neil provides the largest and most diverse printer range in the autoID industry, from mobile and vehicle mounted label and receipt printers, to compact desktop and mid-range units, as well as speciality application printers.
As the Distributor, iData provides the Datamax-O'Neil product line with local knowledge and experience, national presence, local technical capabilities, vendor certified repair centre and an extensive reseller base.
The collaboration between Datamax-O'Neil and iData will bring the Valued Partnership Programme to Africa, which is set to energise channel relationships, increase go-to-market resources and improve sales and customer relations.
The innovative channel programme has been structured to reduce channel conflict, deliver a consistent channel structure and offer a number of marketing and sales-related advantages.
