Gantto intros PM application

Y Combinator -backed Gantto is releasing its Web-based project management application to the public, reports Tech Crunch.

Designed to take on Microsoft's project management software , Gantto focuses on enabling users visualise and present project schedules.

Gantto, a play on words of 'Gantt chart,' is said to not only allow users to create project schedules but also lets users turn schedules into presentations.

Mercy deploys Daptiv PPM

Daptiv, a player in project management and collaborative business software, says Sisters of Mercy Health System (Mercy) has chosen Daptiv PPM, according to PR-USA Net.

This is to increase visibility into its project portfolio in order to improve decision-making, optimise resource allocation and streamline inefficient processes.

Mercy is the ninth largest Catholic healthcare system in the US, and operates facilities and services in a seven-state area encompassing Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas. Mercy has about 37 000 employees across 26 acute care hospitals.

IndiSoft debuts project management platform

IndiSoft, a technology developer in the default service management industry, has released an RxOffice Project portal, which allows clients to track the status of their projects with IndiSoft at every stage, says News Blaze.

Users of the company's development services can use the new platform to securely manage their projects while being able to track the status of projects with IndiSoft.

The new portal improves key performance indicators at IndiSoft and gives clients more information to use in reporting regarding project status.
