Vox Verto suite offers hosted PBX to suit every business

Johannesburg, 19 Mar 2012

The launch of Verto Connect, a hosted call centre, means the Vox Telecom group now offers a PBX solution for every business, according to Vox Orion MD Jacques du Toit.

“Verto Connect is based on combining technologies from Avaya and Presence, which are the acknowledged leaders in the call centre space,” says Du Toit. “But until now only the largest organisations could afford Avaya. By using a hosted model, in partnership with Inovo Telecom, we're able to offer the same benefits to call centres from as little as five seats.”

Vox Orion works closely with clients to implement services that meet their needs, he adds. “Depending on the objective of the call centre and your calling patterns, you may have very different strategic technology needs from the call centre next door. Verto Connect is a complex product that could take up to six months to scope, properly configure and integrate into a customer's systems - but if they need the best, it's worth it.”

Du Toit says Verto Connect has particularly valuable outbound dialling functionality. “A lot of call centre management tools use predictive dialling over VOIP, which floods the network with calls and could result in degraded quality. The Presence suite embedded in Verto Connect uses a progressive dialling system instead, which maintains efficiency within the call centre without damaging network performance.”

Verto Connect offers the full range of contact centre functionality, including multimedia, social media, co-browsing, dynamic scripting, intelligent routing, workforce management and quality assurance tools, says Du Toit.

The Verto suite also consists of Verto Supreme, a hosted Avaya PBX system, Verto Connect, a hosted PBX based on the same Avaya platform and Verto Standard, a hosted PABX based on open source software. “This means we can serve the needs of almost any customer, with options ranging from R70 per extension per month,” says Du Toit.

“The Verto suite has all the advantages of hosted technologies,” he adds. “There are no large upfront costs, there's limited hardware involved, upgrades and updates happen automatically and the whole system is designed to be scalable and flexible according to your business needs.”
