BMC Day comes to SA

By Nadine Arendse
Johannesburg, 21 Mar 2012

Cloud computing changes how IT solutions are built and delivered, as well as the workload distribution in IT organisations.

This is according to Silvio Rugolo, VP EMEA software and consulting at BMC, who says that what users demand from IT is not changing; instead, IT must change the way it responds to those demands.

Rugolo is a speaker at BMC Day 2012, an event held in conjunction with ITWeb, aimed at giving insight into ways that will help simplify and automate IT within organisations.

Rugolo will discuss cloud computing, covering the building, operating and governing of hybrid cloud solutions using the BMC framework. He will also hold an interactive Q&A session.

In addition, there will be an awards ceremony, during which BMC will recognise local customers for their achievements. This will be followed by a cocktail evening, giving delegates the opportunity to network.
