Microsoft Gold Certified partner, IS Partners, has announced immediate availability of its training courses for Microsoft Office PerformancePoint Server 2007.
The training focuses on financial modelling and is aimed at customers who are considering using PerformancePoint planning for their budgeting, forecasting and reporting requirements.
IS Partners is the first Microsoft Learning Solutions Provider in Africa to offer training on the PerformancePoint toolset.
"For most organisations, core financial capabilities that allow them to budget, plan and monitor in a flexible, coherent way have not been within easy reach.
"The introduction of PerformancePoint Server 2007 has, however, firmly established Microsoft in the front-end application space, making strategic capabilities that previously required costly, niche applications, available on the standardised Microsoft BI platform," says Caron Mooney, director of IS Partners.
"We expect Microsoft to continue making significant inroads into the BI tool space, which introduces the requirement for skilled first-line support and user training."
She adds that organisations using ProClarity may not be aware that they are already licensed to use core PerformancePoint capabilities, providing they are up-to-date on their Microsoft Software Assurance licensing.
"These users can easily take advantage of the PerformancePoint toolset, while still leveraging off their familiar Office environment. They are, thus, also ideally placed to avail themselves of the hands-on training we are bringing into the mix," she says.
As an official launch partner with over 20 months` working experience on the product, PerformancePoint Server 2007 gives IS Partners the opportunity to expand its offering within the Microsoft Business Intelligence framework, to now also include more authoritative training, Mooney adds.
