Fujitsu today accelerates business customers' mission-critical applications by further optimising the ETERNUS DX S2 Disk Storage Family as systems of choice for high-performance applications.
With a long record of leading benchmarks and satisfied customers, Fujitsu now offers the fastest rate of data transfer needed for scenarios such as consolidation of massive storage area network infrastructures and large-scale server virtualisation, becoming the first major storage vendor to introduce 16 gigabits-per-second fibre channel host connectivity.
Enabling businesses to deliver the speed and performance needed for applications such as online transaction processing, Fujitsu is also increasing data response time and minimising latency to near real-time levels by increasing cache sizes, which now surpass the one-terabyte cache limit in the top-of-the-range Fujitsu ETERNUS DX8700. Additionally, enhanced automated storage tiering algorithms optimise the balance of storage speed, capacity and cost. Meanwhile, the new quality-of-service features allow more efficient and predictable management of all applications.
