Adapt IT will be hosting the fourth SMART Summit User Group event in September, offering delegates the opportunity to explore an exciting and information-rich agenda. This year's programme will encompass everything from case studies and thought leadership sessions, to product deep-dives, as well as fantastic opportunities for networking and interaction with other leaders in the mining, manufacturing, sugar and energy sectors.

In addition to showcasing technology specifically around manufacturing systems, the SMART Summit incorporates the Operations Suite and CaneLab User Groups for customers who use or are considering these products. According to Gavin Halse, product strategy executive for Adapt IT, Adapt IT is fully committed to the ongoing development of these product suites and the continued benefits these offer customers.

"We have decided to host the event in both Durban and Johannesburg, to make it convenient for the broadest number of our clients. We are expecting customers from more than seven countries to attend. By attending, customers will learn about new product developments, interact directly with the product teams and share in the experience of other users," says Halse.

"The benefits of attending are numerous. Whether you are an existing user who wishes to deepen your understanding of the product, or you are interested in discovering how you can leverage these solutions in your business, you will no doubt benefit from participating in our user group. However, I must caution those who do wish to attend that seats are limited, so in order to secure your place, you should ensure you book early."

Adapt IT has brand new products, exciting innovations and a wealth of experience to share at the SMART Summits, he adds, pointing out that he believes this latest event promises to build on and exceed the success of past events. "We expect all our customers to come away from this summit more knowledgeable and better informed than ever," concludes Halse.

The Durban SMART Summit will take place at the Oyster Box Hotel, in Umhlanga, on 12 and 13 September, while the Johannesburg event will be on 18 and 19 September, at the Radisson Blu, in Sandton.
