Airborne Consulting was recently the only Cape Town-based Microsoft partner to be nominated as a finalist for the Custom Development Solutions award at the annual Microsoft Partner Awards ceremony, held in Durban.
The Awards, open only to Gold partners that have achieved the highest level of certification with Microsoft technologies, are focused on key competency areas vital to Microsoft's business. The Custom Development Solutions competency represents those partners that provide unique customer solutions through software development, application quality assurance and application architecture.
Says Airborne Technical Director, Stuart Kelly: "Airborne focuses on technical excellence in delivering custom developed solutions. Our delivery arm relies on having access to in-house area-focused technology experts who are on top of the latest movements within software architecture, to be able to make informed design decisions on any particular project.
"This trend awareness and our broad, deep skills in the Microsoft technologies we utilise has seen us nominated as finalists in this competency in both the 2007 and 2008 Microsoft Partner awards."
