Storage management software provider, VERITAS Software has appointed Datacentrix as an Elite Partner on the VERITAS partner programme.
Says Bruce Patience, senior account manager at Datacentrix: "We were previously a Vplus Premier Partner and qualified a number of technical staff during 2001 on NetBackup Datacentre, VERITAS` enterprise-level line of backup and recovery products for heterogeneous environments. The Datacentrix sales force has also undergone the requisite sales training.
"Being fully qualified on NetBackup means that Datacentrix can now support a range of VERITAS products -- from Backup Exec, which offers protection to Windows NT, Windows 2000, and Novell NetWare workgroup environments, -- to NetBackup which offers protection to the enterprise Windows and Unix environments," he explains.
In addition to all Premier Partner benefits, including a greater level of sales, education, technical and marketing support, Elite Partnership members enjoy a much closer relationship with VERITAS, plus additional benefits such as priority access to account management and sales leads.
