IXOS-eCONserver 5.0 certified by SAP

The new versions of IXOS Software`s products for SAP environments are now certified for the SAP ArchiveLink interfaces, following the testing of IXOS-eCONserver 5.0 for use with both SAP R/3 and mySAP.com. IXOS products are available in South Africa through Datacentrix.

This certification guarantees that the IXOS products take full advantage of the complete SAP ArchiveLink functionality. The IXOS-eCONserver 5.0 has also been validated for use with the SAP Content Server Cache Functionality.

The IXOS products for SAP environments completely support all the SAP functionality for scalability and performance in document access. Says Rob Shaw, Datacentrix product marketing manager: "This is a major advantage, especially for corporations with large and distributed system environments. By expanding the capabilities of ArchiveLink, these products enable companies using SAP to manage and retrieve any amount of data and documents from within the SAP environment.

All the products of the IXOS-eCON Solution Suite are based on the IXOS-eCONserver. The performance and scalability of this document server have been proven in numerous tests, as well as in over 1700 installations worldwide with approximately 950,000 users.
