Datacentrix offers IXOS product to optimise customer-related processes

IXOS Software AG, a provider of solutions for the management of e-business documents in inter-enterprise system environments, represented in SA by Datacentrix, has announced that IXOS-eCONtext for mySAP CRM enables users to view front- and back-office documents and data directly in their familiar mySAP CRM user interface. This includes information from host systems, SAP R/3 data, e-mails, documents from SAP content management, as well as data from company-specific applications.

"The IXOS product seamlessly integrates paper documents and faxes with mySAP CRM," explains Rob Shaw, product marketing manager at Datacentrix.

"This enables users of IXOS-eCONtext for mySAP CRM to recall every contact with the customer, from the first inquiry to the last phone call, within seconds and respond quickly to inquiries. Companies are able to expedite their customer-related processes and improve their overall service."

IXOS-eCONtext for mySAP CRM integrates all customer-related data and documents from various systems, as well as paper documents in the CRM solution from SAP.

The display of the data and documents in a hierarchical folder structure makes it easy to find the information needed. An order transaction can be clearly traced from the customer inquiry, to the offer, to the order confirmation and to the invoice. Users navigate through the directories or use the standard search dialogues to locate individual data and documents.

"Without switching to other systems or business transactions, employees can quickly get all the information they need about their company`s interaction with the customer. This is a prerequisite for optimal service and satisfied customers," says Shaw.
