Datacentrix has been appointed Novell Business Expert for the eighth consecutive year. This accreditation, evaluated on an annual basis, highlights Novell`s confidence in Datacentrix` service and solutions offering.
Martinus Pretorius, Novell product manager at Datacentrix Infrastructure, says being a Novell Business Expert not only relates to offering Novell products, but also value-added services that turn standard software into customer-focused solutions.
"Implementing new solutions requires a dedicated approach. Not only is it vital that projects are completed to time and budget, but also that all potential risks involved are minimised.
"By working with Datacentrix in its capacity as Novell Business Expert, you can have confidence in the implementation process and that you will be working with specialist professionals, extensively trained with Novell solutions."
Business Experts are selected on three key criteria: revenue performance, strategic fit and the value they bring to the Novell customer. Based on Novell`s assessment of the partner`s abilities in each of these areas, Business Experts are identified at one of three levels. The range of benefits available to Business Experts follows this same structure, reflecting the skills and expertise of partners and rewarding these levels correspondingly.
Monaj Bhoola, channel manager at Novell SA, explains: "We distinguish between tier one, two and three, with tier three representing our highest level of Business Expert accreditation. Datacentrix falls into the tier three bracket, meaning that their business is evaluated in terms of revenue generation, in addition to the other measures we apply. However, once a company receives this level of accreditation, Novell escalates its support and investment offer to that particular partner."
Bhoola believes that there are no simple decisions in business today and selecting technology partners is one of the hardest tasks of all. "Even if you have identified the products you want to work with, you still have to choose an integrator that you can trust to put the solution together. Given the expertise of our Business Experts and the additional business and technical support they receive from us, we believe these to be the partners that Novell users should turn to."
