IXOS SOFTWARE AG, the enterprise content management specialist represented in SA by Datacentrix, has announced the availability of the latest release of the IXOS-eCONtext for SAP product line.
The new version runs under SAP R/3 Enterprise and on the SAP Web Application Server 6.20.
"The document solution, based on SAP NetWeaver, allows companies that use the new SAP integration platform to take immediate advantage of the IXOS enterprise content management functionality," explains Rob Shaw, product marketing manager at Datacentrix.
IXOS-eCONtext for SAP is already in use at about 1 800 SAP installations worldwide. While this latest release demonstrates IXOS`s support for NetWeaver, it also maximises customers` investment in SAP and IXOS products. As organisations adopt the SAP NetWeaver platform to achieve new levels of integration, IXOS-eCONtext for SAP ensures that documents and content continue to be available throughout the enterprise, thus guaranteeing continued inter-operability, collaboration and information flow between internal users, business partners and customers.
IXOS-eCONtext for SAP 5.1A and IXOS-DocuLink 3.3A both support SAP NetWeaver. In addition, IXOS-eCONtext for mySAP CRM 2.1 supports mySAP CRM Version 3.1. As a result, IXOS customers can easily implement the latest SAP technologies and platform.
