IXOS announces Siebel validation

Enterprise content management (ECM) solution provider, IXOS Software, has announced that integration between IXOS-eCONtext for Siebel 3.0 and Siebel eBusiness Applications version 7.5 has been successfully validated by Siebel Systems. IXOS products are available in SA through IT infrastructure and solution provider, Datacentrix.

With this release, IXOS introduces new features including Siebel-SAP document sharing capabilities (SiebelSAPLink), Siebel Remote Client Support and XML-Data Archiving.

IXOS-eCONtext for Siebel 3.0 delivers a fully integrated content archiving solution for Siebel eBusiness Applications. Siebel Systems provides organisations with a proven set of industry-specific best practices, CRM applications software and business processes, enabling corporations to sell to, market to and serve customers across multiple channels and lines of business. With this validation, customers of Siebel Systems and IXOS can now use the complete IXOS imaging and archiving capability for their Siebel CRM environment.

The XML-Data Archiving feature assures optimal Siebel eBusiness Applications performance by archiving historical customer data generated by Siebel to IXOS Document Server while still giving users full online access as required.
