Datacentrix, a black empowered provider of high performing and secure ICT solutions, has achieved the highest partnership level within virtualisation and cloud solution provider, VMware's Solution Provider Program, reaching Premier Partner status.
According to VMware regional director, Chris Norton, the premier partnership level is aimed at partners that have committed their business resources to understanding and delivering virtual infrastructure.
“Partners at this level also provide customers with a broader, solutions-focused approach and are required to assist them in meeting high-end technical and business needs through the design, planning, integration and deployment of the most sophisticated virtual infrastructures,” he explains.
Premier solutions providers must show both technical knowledge and significant sales success across multiple VMware solution areas, providing more complex virtualisation and cloud infrastructure solutions.
Ahmed Mahomed, Datacentrix CEO, explains that in terms of its partnership with VMware, Datacentrix has consistently demonstrated its commitment to the company. “From being named as enterprise partner of the year at the start of our relationship with VMware in 2007, engagement partner of the year in 2008 and OEM solution provider of the year in 2009, there is no doubt that our achievement of Premier Partner status was a logical next step for Datacentrix.”
Datacentrix is also one of the most highly certified local VMware partners, with competencies certifications, including infrastructure virtualisation and business continuity.
