High performing and secure ICT solution provider, Datacentrix, announced it has achieved Gold status in EMC's Business Partner Programme in South Africa. Previously a Silver Partner, Datacentrix intends to continue using leading technologies - applied with innovative, flexible solution design - to drive customer business strategies.
As a Gold Solution Provider Partner, Datacentrix plans to offer the full EMC portfolio of products across all sectors of the marketplace. These products will complement the company's strategy to cement its status as a leading solutions and services integrator in the South African marketplace.
"Becoming a Gold EMC Solution Provider Partner in South Africa will allow Datacentrix to extend our ability to build solutions that meet each customer's specific needs and requirements. EMC not only provides best-of-breed solutions, it also leads many sectors of the ICT landscape, providing companies with tried and tested solutions already deployed across the globe," said Mike Styer, EMC business unit manager at Datacentrix. "EMC is a leading storage and data management company and is an ideal fit for Datacentrix's delivery of high quality products."
"Having committed a significant amount of time in both training and accreditation, we are pleased that Datacentrix has been recognised as a Gold Business Partner," said Jonas Bogoshi, country manager, EMC Southern Africa. "Along with providing added value to their customers, Datacentrix will now be able to benefit from the associated benefits of this programme, including using the tier rewards to invest in the further development and growth of the EMC practice within Datacentrix."
The EMC Business Partner Programme (BPP) brings together all previous EMC partner programmes to create a simple, predictable and profitable experience for each partner. Designed in concert with partners, the BPP offers more flexibility and choice as well as greater access to solutions and services to enable partners to play a leading role in both the second platform and emerging third platform of IT, characterised by the mega-trends of social, mobile, cloud and big data.
