Adobe Creative Cloud 2014 launch in the Mother City

Cape Town, 03 Oct 2014

Dax Data and Adobe are set to host a launch event for the 2014 release of Creative Cloud in Cape Town. The Create Africa event will take place on Thursday, 16 October 2014, at The One&Only Hotel in the V&A Waterfront.

This free event will focus on demonstrating enhancements and select new features across the range of Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including workflow improvements and new ways to create and share on mobile.

"We are proud to be hosting this event in Cape Town ? we find it fitting that an event focused on creativity will take place in the World Design Capital, 2014. The event is a 'must attend' for all those who wish to keep up with advances in the industry's leading set of tools," enthuses CEO of Dax Data, Jeremy Matthews.

Adobe have been hosting launch events worldwide since June of this year, endorsing the 2014 update to Creative Cloud (CC). The release includes 14 new versions of CC desktop applications, as well as essential tools such as Adobe Photoshop CC, Adobe Illustrator CC, Adobe Dreamweaver CC and Adobe Premiere Pro CC.

Guest speakers and Adobe Certified Experts Mohammed Jogie and Carla Ralph, will be elaborating on the latest update and what it means for the creative industry.

Jogie has worked for a number of multi-nationals and served as both EMEA design evangelist and Regional Manager for Adobe and is currently head creative juicer at Morning Star Design. Ralph is the Digital Media Solutions Consultant at Adobe Systems and is responsible for providing a solution driven approach for the entire range of digital media products including Creative Cloud.

"After the success of the Johannesburg launch, we felt we had to bring the event to Cape Town and where better to celebrate creativity, than in the design capital," says Dominic Richardson, Marketing Manager for Dax Data.

The event is scheduled to start at 08:30 on the Thursday morning, and the presentation will commence at 09:00 and end at 14:30. There will be an intermission, during which creatives can network with Adobe partners ? while enjoying a light snack. Anyone interested in attending the event can register at http://events.daxdata.co.za/#register. Tickets to this free event are limited and seats are filling up at a staggering rate, register now to avoid disappointment.
