Esquire Technologies, a leading distributor of computer hardware and peripherals, opened a branch in Cape Town in January 2004 to meet the growing demand for supplies in the Western Cape region.
With its focus on distributing to the small to medium-sized computer resellers and system integrators, Esquire will be well positioned to supply and service its customer base with immediate stock, as well as services and support.
Rob Stuart, branch manager of Esquire's Cape Town branch, comments: "As sole distributors for some of leading brands of computer components and peripherals, such as ABIT motherboards and CTX monitors, we need to offer our global vendor partners national distribution.
"We have selected premises right in the hub of the IT industry in Milnerton, which will not only add a competitive element to the Cape market, but a wider selection of product and services."
Established four years ago, Esquire's head office is situated in Gauteng and the company has a branch in Durban. The company rapidly made its hallmark by implementing an innovative model of one of the fastest supply of product in the industry.
Stuart explains: "Because our customers are small to medium-sized businesses, time is money. To wait for product means loss of income. We've installed systems to ensure that if our customers collect their goods, they can be in and out of our offices within five minutes."
Esquire intends to extend this model to its Cape Town branch, as well as combine this with what Stuart describes as "some of the most competitive prices".
