Esquire introduces Prime 54Mbps wireless networking range, I Gig switches

Esquire Technologies, exclusive distributor of Prime networking products in southern Africa, has announced the availability of the new Prime range of 54Mbps wireless 2.4Ghz IEEE 802.11g standards-compliant networking products, and the 1000Mbps range of switches.

The new Prime IEEE 802.11g range of compliant products include LAN cards, LAN USBs, PCMCIA cards and access points.

According to Gary Febel, Product Manager at Esquire, the new I gigabyte range of switches combine performance, quality with cost-effective prices, making it easy and viable to upgrade from 100 to 1000Mbps.

The switches are available from 4 ports up to 24 rack-mounted switches with retail prices ranging from about R1 500 to R9 000.

Stock on Prime 54Mbps 2.4Ghz wireless networking and 1000Mbps products is available from Esquire's Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal offices, and will also be available during January at the new Cape Town branch.
