Esquire launches range of desktop PCs at Futurex

Esquire Technologies launches the Esquire range of desktop PCs at Futurex at the Sandton Convention Centre from Tuesday, 18 May to Friday, 21 May.

The launch of the Esquire range of desktop PCs follows the company's intensive branding campaign over the past year.

Sunil Singh, General Manager of Esquire, comments: "The range Esquire of desktop PCs competes favourably with local and overseas products in terms of quality and price, and brings additional choice to the South African market."

The Esquire range provides a choice of six desktop PCs with varying configurations to suit the home user, business user, game enthusiast to the power user. The PCs come standard with the Microsoft operating system, and a selection of Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition or Microsoft Windows XP Professional.

Since its inception in 1999, Esquire has grown to be one of SA's leading distributors of a comprehensive range of computer hardware and peripherals. As a truly South African owned black empowerment ITC company, Esquire focuses on supplying the small to medium business sectors in southern Africa, and has a large user base countrywide and into southern Africa.

Other products on display

Although the Esquire PC is the highlight of the exhibit, Esquire is also displaying other new products from global vendors. As sole distributor for ABIT motherboards in SA, Esquire will showcase these products, along with a video wall of CTX monitors and plasma screens.

On the multimedia front, Altec Lansing computer and home entertainment sound systems, a line of headsets, headphones and microphones for personal digital media are on display.

For the first time in two years, TEAC range optical drives and CD copy stations can be seen, which Esquire has recently reintroduced to the southern African market. As the newly appointed distributor for BenQ digital lifestyle products in SA, Esquire will showcase BenQ's range of Joybook mobile PCs, as well as consumer products, peripherals and optical media, including the BenQ keyboard and mouse range and Joybee MP3 players.

A range of cutting-edge peripherals are on display, including Bluetooth and infrared adaptors and wireless networking products. Other well known brands are also on exhibit, ranging from Chic keyboards and mouse products; Chronos digital cameras and multimedia products; Hitachi, Seagate and Western Digital storage devices; Kingmax memory products; Princo optical media; Micronet networking and wireless products; PixelView graphic and multimedia adaptors to Xitel multimedia products.
