Esquire Technologies, a leading distributor of computer hardware, components, peripherals, PCs and notebooks, has invited key global vendor partners to exhibit at its large stand at Futurex at the Sandton Convention Centre from 17 to 20 May.
Mahomed Cassim, Esquire's Sales and Marketing Director, comments: "Representatives from world leading vendors will be present at Futurex to meet visitors and introduce their latest product offerings."
Esquire's stand has been designed to accommodate its key vendor partners, ranging from Intel, Microsoft, ECS, IC Intracom, BenQ, Sapphire, ATI, TEAC, Altec Lansing, Kingmax, Hitachi, Lexmark, Prolink, KWorld, to Micronet.
Graphic cards
Sapphire Technologies has an area where visitors can test drive the latest ATI graphic cards and view some industry firsts, such as Sapphire Select, where most of the new Sapphire graphic accelerators will be shipped with a DVD containing a selection of top applications and games from several leading software houses.
Jaco Laubscher, Managing Director of Sapphire Technology Africa, comments: "With Sapphire Select, the end customer can play each of the games for a one hour trial before selecting titles and using the activation codes for those titles."
Motherboards
ECS Elitegroup will run two workstations on the latest KN1 and PF88 motherboards.
The PF88 features EliteBus technology, which enables this motherboard to accommodate all major types of CPUs. Users can experience both desktop and mobile CPUs on one motherboard.
2 000 products under one brand
IC Intracom will set up a Manhattan "store" demonstrating an extensive range of quality, high-margin peripherals and accessories from one supplier aimed at making the reseller's life easier, and putting the profit back into the business.
Danny Lo, Senior International Sales Manager, Asia for IC INTRACOM, who will be present at Futurex, comments: "We do the research to select products that will earn the highest margins for the reseller while meeting the needs of their customers, so they can focus on other critical issues and generate higher revenue for their business."
Voice over IP
With voice over IP being the latest buzzword, visitors can view Micronet's range of phones and gateways, as well as the company's WiFi network offerings. Other products and demos include Kingmax's well-known memory modules and digital products, Prolink's graphic cards, TEAC optical drives and CD copy stations, Altec Lansing multimedia audio PC solutions, and BenQ's networking lifestyle digital devices.
Workstations and notebooks
"Not only will we display and demonstrate the latest in IT product from overseas," adds Cassim, "but we will also showcase the affordable ESQUIRE ranges of desktop workstations and notebooks. In fact, there will be a whole bank of workstations and notebooks, where visitors can test the performance and features of these units."
