Esquire opens its doors in Nelspruit

Johannesburg, 18 May 2006

Esquire Technologies, leading South African distributor of computer hardware, peripherals and lifestyle products, opens a fifth branch in Nelspruit on 22 May in response to demand in Mpumalanga and neighbouring countries.

Zunaid Ismail, Esquire's Nelspruit Branch Manager, comments: "Nelspruit, as one of the fastest growing cities in Africa, has become a vibrant commercial centre, feeding the increased demand within the Mpumalanga region and surrounding countries, such as Swaziland and Mozambique.

"Mozambique, in particular, is experiencing a period of economic growth and investment and as an emerging market, Esquire is well positioned to meet their demands. This area is currently serviced by the Gauteng branches," adds Ismail,

Mozambique's proximity to South Africa has resulted in a range of major projects that support continued high levels of growth. Indicators such as inflation, which continues to decline, show that the country's economy is likely to continue on its successful growth path.

"There has been a great demand for Esquire products by dealers in both the Mpumalanga region and Mozambique. The new branch will ensure there is a wide range of stock available immediately without the delay factor of couriering stock from our Gauteng branch. There has never been more reason for Esquire to step up their game plan and meet the demands of a vast emerging market," continued Ismail.

The opening of Esquire's Nelspruit branch is a logical progression in terms of the company's mission to distribute a wide variety of top quality global hardware and peripherals nationally while ensuring high levels of availability and personal service at competitive pricing.

Ismail says: "Nelspruit is part of Esquire's continued drive to establish a national presence in top tier technology product delivery, at the best price in the fastest turnaround time to local markets."
